SUCCESS STORIES
Food Processing (branded and private label foods)
San Leandro, CA
The Challenge
As a firm that private labels ensuring that the sensitive financial data is not only secure but that data recovery is “fool” proof if a disaster was to occur. When your clients are nationally recognized, require an audit of financial records and an IT “sign-off” there is no excuse for failure. Because this San Leandro firm works under strict quality control agreements the partnership between InfoGate and firm needed to be committed to absolute discretion.
The Solution
InfoGate replaced “end of life” infrastructure; ensured that security policies and user rights were under the control of “key” management.
InfoGate ensured that workstations were restricted prohibiting installation of unauthorized or downloaded material
InfoGate upgraded Firewall, implemented port monitoring, enhanced security filtering
InfoGate set in place external email filtering that would permit filtering by Country, IP, Domain, email, Rule scripting.
InfoGate implemented a managed back-up system monitored both internally and at the InfoGate Office. System has both “Cloud” and internal network storage
The Success
The Food firm is now confident that compliance standards are in place, data is secured, redundant recovery tested and in place, protection against RansomwareMalware securely entrenched.
Women’s Health care (Nonprofit)
Oakland, CA
The Challenge
Relocation of the Executive Director from the nonprofits office to the east coast forced the company to re-evaluate the internal network that hosted Exchange, Accounting, and sensitive information along with a transition to a virtual office.
The Solution
InfoGate implemented a Non-Profit Office 365 for email and the hosting of non-sensitive data.
InfoGate convinced client that an enhanced email filtering was needed to ensure protection
InfoGate implemented hosted accounting ensuring that accounting records from an outdated platform were not lost
InfoGate prepared and presented “Virtual Office” Policies
The Success
The women’s non-profit is now cloud based relying on the server only as a secure archive.
